Hailing from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, KINGS NEVER DIE walk a fine line between positive, uplifting messages and deadly serious topics. A musical and lyrical mixture of hardcore, punk, metal incl. sing-along passages. In the band’s words: “We love making music together and that’s what comes out of it”.
The original version of the band launched in late 2019 and released the EP’ “Raise A Glass” in early 2020, just before the covid pandemic, which also essentially marked the end of all further plans for 2020/21. “The goal was always to release a full-length album. We used the time off to focus on writing, on what we really wanted to say and on recording.” The band returned with some new members and another EP “Good Times and The Bad” in 2022, meanwhile finishing their upcoming debut full-length album “All The Rats”.
KINGS NEVER DIE now consists of members Dylan Gadino (vocals), Dan Nastasi (guitar/vocals), Danny Schuler (drums), Larry Nieroda (guitar) and Evan Ivkovich (bass).
Some may remember Dan Nastasi from his earlier work with “Dog Eat Dog” (ABK era) and before that with “Mucky Pup”. Danny Schuler, of course, as the drummer for “Biohazard” and Evan “ONE” Ivkovich as the bassist for “Wisdom in Chains”.
Although fans of these bands will certainly not be disappointed, KINGS NEVER DIE want to stand completely on their own regardless of their past. Nastasi adds, “This is all about what we are doing now, although we love and respect the people and bands we have played with, past and present, people should only judge Kings Never Die on this new album and The Now. We have cultivated this band from the ground up, we’re putting the work and love what we are doing and
what we created here.”
