Crashdïet from Sweden are back with their 7th brand new album called ‘’Art Of Chaos’’. These rocker’s from what I call the second generation of sleaze/glam-metal, have been already around from early 2000. There have been quite a few personnel changes in these 26 years. None of the original band members from 2000 are in the band anymore. Perhaps the most famous of these original band members was guitarist Mary Goore, now known to the general public as Tobias Forge, the mastermind behind Ghost.

Crashdïet 2026
In 2026, guitarist Martin Sweet is flying the Crashdïet flag.
Singer John Elliot [Confess] handles the vocals on this album. And I already knew he could hold his own from their 2024 performance at Wildfest.
Drummer Michael Sweet, whom we know from ToxicRose, was already behind the drum kit back then, delivering some kick-ass drumming. And now he does so on this new album.
Bassist Peter Londen has decided to take a longer break from the band, so Chris Young has been given the honor of providing the low 4-string end on this album.
Sleaze, Glam and Melody
So, plenty of lineup changes again since their previous album, “Automation,” from 2022. But does that affect the musical quality of “Art Of Chaos”?
Well, no—this has simply turned out to be another awesome and recognizable Crashdïet album. Sleazy hard rock as always, at a fantastic level. And what does that mean? Well, music in the vein of bands like Guns N’ Roses or Skid Row.
The production on “Art of Chaos” is top-notch once again. And a track like ,,Silent Place” features an opening riff that could have come straight from George Lynch’s pen. That’s something that really stands out on this new album. It leans a bit more toward the melodic rock side than was present on previous albums. A bit more room for melody and catchy choruses. “Art of Chaos” is a carefully crafted exercise in glam, sleaze, and, you guessed it, chaos. And with the opening track ,,Satisfaction,” they really kick things into high gear right away. ,,Can Of Worms” will be a fantastic headbanger live, with its driving riff, and ,,Chaoz Magnetic” is indeed the chaos track we need on a Crashdïet release.
Hard, Sweaty & Dirty
There may have been quite a few lineup changes again, but Crashdïet has once again managed to deliver a great album with “Art Of Chaos.”
But as always, I believe this band really comes into its own LIVE; you have to experience this kind of music in the crowd.
Hard, sweaty and Dirty!!
