VLAD IN TEARS present another dark rock/alternative masterpiece.
After the release of “Porpora” in 2022, VLAD IN TEARS created a more emotional bond with most of their fans than ever before, and they wrote to the band about their feelings, their personal struggles and arguments.
This album is dedicated to all those who are still fighting, who haven’t won yet and who want to be listened to. It is a collection of stories from people all over the world who want their voices and experiences to be heard and shared.
It took the musicians almost a year to complete. Last summer, Kris and his two brothers Alessio and Dario spent 10 days in a row in Kris’ own recording studio.
“We haven’t done anything like this for a long time, we felt the true magic that our bond as brothers can unleash when we are together and fully dedicated to our music” comments Kris Vlad.
After recording, the band had the pleasure of working with Alessandro from Escape Room Records, who realised an outstanding sound for each song.
“Relapse” is the 9th album of VLAD IN TEARS, and it is the most rocking one, which, as strange as it may sound, does not contain a single synthesiser instrument.
The band has also recorded 9 of the 11 new songs as acoustic versions, which will be available exclusively as part of the limited fan box set.
